I'm excited to hear some deep album cuts, but I think I'm most psyched about them actually playing songs off the new album. I thought that SLDD got the shaft in comparison to every other album - maybe because a lot of the album wasn't conducive to a up-tempo rock show.

I'm just stoked at the fact Dean mentioned possibly having Cinnamon has their third single!! Woot! woot! lol I really think releasing that song as a single will really help their album because it will cater to all different kinds of music listeners and just just hardrock fans. I believe it will do what Sour Girl did to "No.4". Can't wait for that and all the new material on the tour!!

Dean mentioning Cinnamon as the third single means that they haven't given up on the new album ;D .  And I love Cinnamon!  Don't know what radio format would play it, though.

God, I really hope this all happens.  Atlanta and Still Remains, please!

The possibility of Still Remains, Pretty Penny, Kitchen Ware, Heaven & Hot Rods, No Way Out, Atlanta etc. is orgasmic.
STP: 08/22/10 - Cleveland, OH.

I wouldn't be surprised if it were just "Unglued" and "Down" they add. But, I'd love to hear "Atlanta" and "Glide."
6/4/08 - Detroit, MI - The Fillmore (Red Wings win the Cup); 7/7/09 - Lansing, MI - Common Ground Festival; 8/19/10 - Grand Rapids, MI - Deltaplex; 8/26/10 - Detroit, MI - Fox Theatre; 4/20/11 - Detroit, MI - The Fillmore; 8/18/12 - Pontiac, MI - Silverdome

He said "never played live" off of No. 4. Of course they may not remember playing some of those songs live; Sex and Violence and I Got You come to mind.

That narrows it down to the following:

MC5
Church on Tuesday
Pruno
Glide

I'm guessing it'll the songs that they played live but only like once or twice and they don't remember it. My guess it'll be No Way Out, I Got You and Sex and Violence. Either way, that's still cool and worth the price of admission. I'll be going to the Atlantic City show on 9/3. Can't wait.

As for Purple, that's why I'm skeptical about the whole "No. 4" remark. All of those songs have been played adventively since their reunion, except for Pretty Penny and Kitchenware and Candybars. That's obvious what he was referring to.

As for the new album, obviously TALO and they'll probably be retiring Hickory, Bagman and maybe Huckleberry.

Here's my prediction for the setlist:

Set List
    • Vasoline
    • Crackerman
    • Between The Lines
    • Take a Load Off
    • Huckleberry Crumble
    • I Got You
    • Pretty Penny
    • Creep
    • Plush
    • Interstate Love Song
    • First Kiss on Mars
    • Fast as I Can
    • Sex and Violence
    • Meat Plow
    • Sex Type Thing
    • Dead And Bloated
    • Trippin' On A Hole In A Paper Heart.
