over the years i have shown alot of respect to Stone Temple Pilots and that is becouse of their fine music they play,
but i have spoken to some  who says that their two first albums are their only worthy to listen to.
great comercial success, great tunes and a clean and sober singer, in my eyes the good times for Stone Temple Pilots.
i have to agree after purple things didnt go very well  but does that mean the other albums dosent deserve respect
just becouse they didnt sell enough.
any thoughts :)

during tiny music, Stone Temple Pilots was still at the height of their success, and that is arguably their best album........ im still a fan of every single Stone Temple Pilots album equally, but many people on here think Shangri-La is the best, and some even think that Core is the weakest album.

so i think that pretty much kills that theory, which sounds like it came from a radio DJ who thinks Stone Temple Pilots 'wussed out' since their Core days.
and in the eyes of a jackal i say ka-BOOM.

hi

personal  interest i think, what you like is what you like!.
i would have had more respect for Shangri-LA DEE DA if it was a double album?????
if it was there would be more to chose from.
purple is the one i listen most to at the moment,it might change. ;)

Tiny Music or No.4 are my favorites, but you're right, what you like is what you like!

Tiny Music sold over 3 million copies, so it was hardly a commercial failure...
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

I love Core, but if I had to pick my fave Stone Temple Pilots album, it'd be one of the other four. I can't choose though!

right. some of the biggest rock bands right now would love to sell 2 - 3 million records (i.e. incubus, foo fighters, etc).
