yikes
When STP had a cookout after filming the video for the Core single "Plush," Weiland made jerk chicken that was "spectacular," Dean raves.

Can't wait to see the magazine...guessing it will be out this coming Friday?  Was disappointed that this week's Rolling Stone has the making of a Rolling Stones album on the cover.  There was a short interview with Scott, but no album review yet...guess we'll have to see in two weeks when the next issue comes out.

Agreed.  They need lots of promotion over the next few weeks.  Everything helps.

Any  publicity helps...I cant recall any of the previous albums getting this much early attention (playing on ESPN, magazine covers, Halo, etc.) but the attention is needed for the average fan who needs to know STP is back

Exactly.  Advertisement is key, in order to alert potential buyers.

Now STP can make a video like "No Doubt" did in which the band went in for a magazine photo shoot and it all became about Gwen, which was based on the truth and I think the Mag. was SPIN , so ..

And they can make it about how the sexual relationship between the singer and the bassist was falling apart and they both knew it, but the singer didn't want to bassist to her/him because it hurts.

Well when 90% of your career has been derailed by drugs, and as recently as 2 months ago scott was cracked out onstange forgetting words, i would say it's an acceptable subject to talk about.
