I do pretty much the same thing.  I convert to wav, use Windows Sound Recorder to cut it - and then I convert it back to .mp3 with DbPowerAMP.  :D :D

I can't USB to my phone because I don't have the razr software, so that's why I e-mail it to myself. :D

thats not a bad idea though. My text messages tone is the begining of coma..my generic tone is interstate love song- my husband is crackerman and my mom is she builds quick machines

My standard ring is Lounge Fly, my other half is Dirty Little Thing (sometimes I change it to STT) :P and my SIL is Crackerman.  :D  Text messages are the beginning of Down. :P

and my other close friend is the intro to Meatplow and the line Fine place for a day full of breakdowns .... :D :D

I have a ringtone for pretty much everyone so I don't have to look at the phone to see who is calling.  My partner at work is Superfreak and my boss is September by Earth Wind & Fire.  :P

I think so - Verizon uses a different set up than AT&T.  They'll tell you how to do it - it needs to be dubbed down to 22mhz I think.


Free ringers says that it supports the Chocolate 8500,8550 and 8560.  :D

Ahh weird thats exactly what is mine too!!...well my contacts anyway. My no caller ID is Plush, right now. And Im too busy to set one up for texts, so its just an annoying noise. Haha. I love Angry Chair...

I was recently creating a bunch of STP ringtones for assigning to contacts on my iPhone, and I thought "hey!  someone else might like these without paying a fortune!".  I still have to talk to Rik, to see if this is something that is okay to post here, so I don't want to make any promises at this time, but I am actively looking into it.  You definitely need to own the music to have the rights to use STP ringtones, but I think everyone here probably owns at least one copy of each album already. 

So, consider this a poll of interest.  Would you like to download some STP/SW/VR ringtones for your cell/iPhone?
