oddly enough art school girl gets my vote. it's slower then ROCKS out, with touch of sense of humor and a humming section. I LOVE THIS SONG

I'd have to agree. It showcases the bands talent and how well Scott can sing...

Based on a few things....like what members of the band actually think all the way to how accepted a song is by fans (even fringe STP fans) to even things like how cool the video is, I am thinking Interstate Love Song should be considered a song that best defines the band.

I think a live song would define the band better than any studio track... and because of that I'd go with Sex type Thing.  It was their closer for years, and when thinking of STP, and one song, I can;t help but think of the STT montage video on the 'Thank You' DVD.

My vote is for Interstate Love Song.
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

Look I just want to go out sometime you know.  Like normal people, spend time together and enjoy each other's company. Like best friends.  Like lovers that care.  Who actually respect the relationship you know?"

I'll throw a vote for Interstate Love Song also.
Its rock enough for rock fans, but light enough for mainstream pop/rock fans, with a hint of a country influence.
