Who would you like to see STP collaborate with?
« on: May 20, 2008, 07:07:35 AM »
I think "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" with Pink Floyd would be THE shit.  It's a classic piece & would be positively haunting in regards to Syd Barrett & Michael Weiland.  Both crazy diamonds gone before their time...whether mentally or physically.  Now that would definitely be a huge production!
Know what I\'m thinking?  No?  Neither do I!  ;Þ

"Shine On You Crazy Diamond" would be great, indeed. I remember I had downloaded that off of WinMX years ago, and I lost it when my old hard drive got fucked and had to reformat. I'm still pissed about that.

A Led Zeppelin collaboration wouldn't be too shabby, either.

Courtney Love. I think her and Scott would sound amazing together.

This goes back to a dream I posted about (under another name) years ago when they (would have) performed with Jerry Cantrell and Sheryl Crow - just imagine the setlist with those two helping out on guitar, bass & vocals...it would open everything up...Robert on keys too...marvellous! Plus, we'd get "Lady..." which would be ultra-cool.

An STP / QUEEN collab. would be excellent.  I could see the Deleos playing off of Biran May and vice versa.  Paul Rodgers and Scott Weiland doing a littl duet.

If the artist could be dead, I'd say Rust Epique. But since he passed away and I'm sure many haven't even heard of him I'll say Alice in Chains. Ever since I saw Scott do "Angry Chair" with them, I've always wondered what they could do together.
