the double album was not scott weilands fault,he wanted SLDD to be double and their greatest hits to be doulbe but robert deleo said no.

they have enough material for 2 or 3 new albums i think.
music robert dosent wonna get out there.
i also thought thank you album was alittle bit poor,only 1 new song.

Brendan nixed SLDD from being a double album.  I always thought the greatest hits was a double album (CD and DVD).

You'll never see me complain about the greatest hits package. 

There was a lot of stuff on there that I am still surprised made it out.  We're lucky to have such a great package, that DVD was phenomenal.

And I'm not complaining one bit about Thank You. It was a Greatest Hits album, not a Greatest Hits and more album. "All In The Suit..." was just a nice extra, IMO.

el solo hecho de pensar en que spt se juntan otra vez produce una descarga de adrenalina inexplicable...escuchar los discos de stp es una cosa atemporal...siempre se descubren cosas nuevas...por ejemplo...escuchar shangri la dee da es una experiencia nueva cada vez...tantas capas de sonidos...arreglos ...voces...
...tuve la oportunidad de ver a velvet revolver en vivo en abril de 2007...no me puedo sacar de la cabeza dos momentos cruciales de aquel show...fueron dos momentos en que en medio de los saltos cerre los ojos y no puede dar credito a lo que mis oidos escuchaban...estaba parado en medio del estadio y a unos pocos metros...scott weiland...en carne y hueso...cantando crackerman y sex type thing...me volo la cabeza...
...espero que esta reunion se haga realidad...acopañada de giras y nuevo disco...no pierdo las esperanzas de algun dia poder ver a stone temple pilots en vivo...en mi pais...haciendo temas como tripping in a hole...sour girl...atlanta...big empty...sex type thing...etc....

i am not judgeing the album as whole,all i wished for was that they provided more unreleased tracks+who dosent wonna hear more stp music?.
every other band does why not them,why didnt they release live albums??.
they produce cracking music,we want more of that.
