I would agree that the albums belong in the top 100...I would just arrange them differently.

Top 5
63. Purple - Stone Temple Pilots
25. Core - Stone Temple Pilots
50. Unplugged - Alice In Chains
95. Ill Communication - Beastie Boys
11. Rage Against The Machine - Rage Against The Machine

Add Mad Season, Sublime, Tool, Korn to the mix...to actually rank them is impossible since it depends on my mood.

Thank God Nevermind wasn't Number #1 I'm sick of Nirvana.

Purple should be at least in the Top 10, considering its the greatest album of all time :)

Purple needs to be higher :(

And I'm glad Jeff Buckley's "Grace" is in the top 10.  Definitely one of greatest albums ever.

I don't think Superunkown should have the honor of being a #1 album.  Yes it has a lot of great songs but ehh, I think Ok Computer should get that spot.  But then again, I can never make up my mind when it comes to the BEST songs/albums.
I know I want what\'s on my mind.

Lists are generally a matter of opinion but yes it does look alot like my cd collection but STP always finds its way into the cd player.

Chris Cornell's solo album at 64? Out of all the great albums of the 90's, I'm really surprised this even made the list.

Very glad to see Jeff Buckley in the top 10 he is one of my top ten fav artists of all time, simply brilliant.

Purple, core, and siamese dreams should be higher IMO.

Blood Sugar deserves a few spots as well
STP: 08/22/10 - Cleveland, OH.
        08/28/10 - Pittsburgh, PA.

there is a very, very, REALLY fine line between facts and opinions.

http://http://allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&searchlink=MOTHER|LOVE|BONE&sql=11:difyxqe5ldte~T2

if you check out that link, it states that Mother Love Bone released Apple in 1990. poor, poor Andrew! ......... why isn't it on that list?

It is my opinion that facts and opinions are, in fact, quite easily distinguishable.
