I would love a new DVD as much as the next guy, but I bet we will get one after the tour, from this tour, so it can be shot all Hi-Def with great sound, etc... A little dvd/blu-ray release, mmmm.... What I would like to see is them maybe hocking cheap copies of Thank  You with the dvd at the shows... If they put them out there for like 20 bucks they'd make a killing and make a lot of new fans...
My only exit is a one way out...

If STP history tells us something.........it is that we won't get anything like this unfortunately.

STP needs to do something similar to what Neil Young is doing with re-releasing all his material from a certain date range on Blu-Ray. There's so much you can pack on the Blu-Ray, plus the music will be the best quality.

Assuming there's (eventually) a new album, they should have a deluxe package including a live DVD from the tour. I assume they're holding back the full Houdini Mansion footage for that as well...unless there are other plans for releasing it..?

Well besides the one that came with Thank You, of course.

Supposedly the reunion concert is coming out on DVD, but hopefully with added material, because 30 minutes is too damn short for a DVD.

Nothing better than a multi-disc set.  They definitely went all out on the Thank You DVD.  Let's not forget the Shangri-La movies that never went to use.

I think that they should release in DVD a whole concert. Every little shitty band has done that but STP which is one of the best live bands. Scott is a killer on the scene and STP music has what it takes for a great gig!

You're Welcome is a great follow up name. Thanks You is packed with additional footage. The Sex Type montage is outstanding. Sounds like they are gearing up for another DVD if they shot the Houdini Show and have already said it will be released. I agree a 30 minute show is too short for a full DVD, but I assume there will be preparation footage as well.

Curtis...maybe there will be a documentary on them reuniting, and the concert will show up as "bonus" footage...?
