So I have a fondness for autographs that I've talked about
here, and some of you might remember the Weiland autograph debacle
here which Brett reported on but the article disappeared later (never was sure why). In any event, I setup a new office display with some of my better true first editions and so on......
So Sammy Hagar fits into all of this because I love his biography, "Red". It's a truly amazing read - dare I say it's a much better, uplifting and informative book than Weiland's memoir was. I'm a big Hagar fan and I'd love to add a signed copy not only for my collection, but to create better balance on the Weiland shelf (eventually Altered Carbon will be down with more Blade Runner stuff).
The likelihood that I'll ever meet Sammy Hagar is next to zero, soooooo I started looking at Sammy autos on eBay just as a starting point. And, came across
this listing, which had this pictorial evidence that Sammy signed the book.....
