Overall, I like the tune.
There's a weird musical choice: a little lick that Dean plays during the chorus (G-F-D-F-G) that pops up at different places, and, to me, it sounds weird when it plays on the first beat, because, along with Jeff's vocal, it sounds as though they are moving from a G7 (dominant) a Gmaj7. It's not "wrong," just unusual.
I do love the lush guitar work. It reminds me a lot of Once Upon a Tribe, that song Dean wrote for a guitar album years ago. I love it when Dean goes in on crafting this type of rich, beautiful guitar work.
