Autographed MJY Matchbook

I almost fell off my rocker and bought this thing, but then I got my wits about me and remembered that I was cheap and (despite how fucking cool this is) would not spend that much money on a matchbook. Part of me would, but if I always succumbed to those urges, I'd be dirt poor. So, here it is for anyone who may be interested. It's a pretty cool piece of memorabilia. I was actually looking for rare Nine Inch Nails stuff (which I also found), when I stumbled upon this.

Now, if this was a tangible MJY demo tape, I would've gladly dropped the money.

Hmmmmm. I'd probably agree with that, that'd be pretty dope. This kinda makes me wonder what else could be out there, nothing obscene of course, but little things having to do with MJY. Actually, I'd like to know who designed the MJY logo, I've always thought it was really simplistic and cool.

That's a pretty incredible find. Even just the matchbook on it's own has got to be a rare item - who saves matchbooks? Seriously.

It's a cool find but extremely overpriced IMO. I found an original MJY demo tape and press kit years ago on eBay and got it for less than the price of the matchbook.

I agree, but I'd kill for an MJY demo. That's cool that you found one on there, just tells me I should be more ebay-vigilant for this sort of thing. How much did it run you exactly if you can recall?

But speaking of MJY demo tapes, I got a 3-track 1991 MJY demo on Ebay a while back. The seller was a former A&R person. It had Super Scary Area, Naked Sunday and Piece of Pie on it. It was a steal.
