Fred Durst actually says that "Scott Weiland the melody man" on the last track of that album, Chocolate Starfish.  Oh the things we remember!  I think I also remember hearing Scott say that working on those Limp Bizkit albums was pretty profitable especially since he was in jail during Chocolate Starfish.

Scott's cover he did of that Bowie song "Ashes to Ashes" with Big Blue Missle was amazing.  He seemed to do a lot of guest spots in 1999 during his heroin escapades.

I think scott guest staring on any lb album is why we bought it.  I know his time of the season is the only reason I bought the austin powers 2 soundtrack.

And because you love "Beautiful Stranger."   :D
How could they not notice it?! Because it's a little mint.  It's a Junior Mint!

Hey guys, I'm a new "member" but have checked this site almost everyday for years and enjoy all you contribute (most of you) haha....We all have the same thing in common and it's cool to have a place like this....

But to answer the original question of Scott was involved in any guest appearances other then Limp Bizkit, which I agree he dominates the hook on "Nobody Like You" off Significant Other with Jonathan Davis from Korn who I don't like at all, great song. Anyway, he wrote the hook for Deftones RX Queen on White Pony for Chino to sing and I'm pretty positive I've read before that he has faded vocals distorted into that hook too. I've been a massive  Deftones fan since I was 16, I'm now 24. Looking back at that song, that hook does not match up qith Chino's normal style and it's very evident to me Scott did in fact write it....Pretty cool.

Thanks again for all the info and input over the years, I look forward to joining you all in the future.....

I cant hate that song, because Austin Powers is in the video.  If I ever get signed, you can expect me to try and get Austin Powers in my video.  Kick. Ass.

Still, madonna sucks.  BLEH!

"Time of the Season" , "But Not Tonight" and "Dancing Days" are phenomenal covers. My favorite there is "But Not Tonight" which Scott did with Doug covering Depeche Mode. Such a beautiful song in every aspect....
