Hey Rik...   :D

Is it the same version of "Fame" that appears on HIG?

You can also puchase mp3 versions of these from amazon.com

http://www.amazon.com/Fame/dp/B0013F292 ... 798&sr=8-3

Woah, Spanks 5Star!   :-*   I went through and read that old thread - funny how over a year ago I "discovered" a song I hadn't heard, and I still haven't heard it.   :D

And even funnier that someone in that thread got nasty and told me they've "been here longer than me" then called me "sweetcheeks"  Damn - I hate when I miss good stuff like that!   ;D    ;D

Looks like I'm going to have some MP3 downloading to do tonight.  Phew!  I'm going to be left with a horrible feeling of incompleteness until I get home from work!

You have me equally confused.  :)  What is your question exactly?

I dont believe those other two tracks feature Weiland, but I would love to be proven wrong.

they do feature Weiland :)

These are the 2 'versions/mixes' of Fame by Chris Bohn featuring Scott

A Back Of The Limo
B Too Many Lines

The version on HIG is done by Paul Oakenfold.  Although I believe they use the same vocal track.

I knew the one on happy was oakenfold, but that definitely clears up the other question!

Thanks, Five!

oooooooh - those are the names of REMIXES.  Gottcha!

Sorry about the mass confusion.  My original question was just "what the fuck is this" - then got confused with all the talk about Rik having it, telling me it was different, etc.

Sorry, boys.  My mind can, at times, become easily scrambled.   8)

Scott Weiland Guest Appearances
« Reply #74 on: February 24, 2009, 01:19:42 AM »
I never knew until about 5 years ago that Scott guested on and co-produced the Limp Bizkit albums, Significant Other(1999) and Chocolate Starfish...(2000). I looked through the album notes and found Scott's credits. It was soo cool. If you know of any others please list them.

Guest Vocals:

-Track 7 of "Significant Other" on the song Nobody Like You, along with Jonathan Davis from KoRn.

-Track 13 of "Chocolate Starfish..." on the song Hold On, with Fred Durst doing the 2nd verse.

I guess I was a little young to realize that Weiland was the go-to guy in rock vocals in the late-90s. He really was respected by many. I found a quote from Fred Durst saying, "Scott Weiland, the melody man. If you[Scott] can't sing it, nobody can."  :)
