I know I would get smoked for saying this but I really don't like Dumb Love.
I think it's a decent rocker. It's not at the same level as Down, Sex Type Thing, or Crackerman, but it's alright. It just seemed out of place for that album...Then again the album WAS all over the place...
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

Quite a lot of SLDD bashing here I notice...

I love that album, I think it is a beautiful piece of work, I don't skip any track on there but if I had to pick a weakest song it would be 'Regeneration'. Now NO ONE can tell me they don't like 'Hello It's Late', that song along with 'Atlanta' are the finest STP songs ever I believe.

Well it's a hell of a lot better than most songs on that album.

Personally, I think they're both good songs. I really don't like Black Again. The song just sounds whiny.

Its a good job your not the song-writer of a famous rock band then. Look forward to hear your fifth album.

Days of the Week?

I absolutely love SLDD, but that song is... well, let's just say I skip it every single time.

I'm surprised so many of you disliked the album.  Personally, I think it's an album that older fans appreciated more than newer ones.  A lot of the album was very personal (BiPolar Bear, Black Again, A Song for Sleeping) - which may be part of the reason that I love it so much.  I think Weiland's lyrics on this album are his best to date.

But, to each their own.   :)
How could they not notice it?! Because it's a little mint.  It's a Junior Mint!

I agree - the SLDD lyrics beat out the lyrics of any other album (STP or VR) anyday.

And again agreed - the reason for that, I think is because it's so personal and close to his heart.

Not to be a dick or anything, but I don't get why people care so much about lyrics. As long as the musics there, who cares how good the lyrics are? Anyway, just so I don't say too much to offend people, I too think that SLDD was an awesome album.
