Personal High Rise song ranking
« on: October 11, 2013, 10:57:29 PM »
1: Same On The Inside
2:Tomorrow
3: Cry Cry
4: Out of Time
5: Black Heart

I hope Same on the Inside will be their next single. I'm really digging the first three songs I listed.  I feel it's their most straight forward songs. Out of Time is awesome too but to me not really a song you can easily sing along to like the first three. Still trying to get used to Black Heart. I feel like it's the odd one out from the group although I still like the song.

I actually really like Black Heart, but Tomorrow is my favorite. I don't know how well it would do on radio, but damn, it's a nice tune.

Every song was disposable and half assed. 2/10 rating

All five songs are solid, inspired, and well-crafted. I can just hear their energy and focus on these tunes.

Cry Cry has a cool chorus, but I just can't get over the horrible riff to start the song. It sounds like that Offspring song "come out and play" but played more lazy and sloppy. Just terrible. But overall I've been happy with the EP. Some good stuff by the Deleos and Eric. Chester is "meh" through most of it with some high points. Overall it's a cool listen, glad it exists.

1. Tomorrow
2. Black Heart
3. Same On The Inside (Love the Deleos part about it, just think Chester oughta have given some breathing space to the song)
4. Cry, Cry (Thought its more VR than STP)
5. Out Of Time

NO.We're not.Dead By Sunrise was better.DBS is chester side project
This EP is just a normal record.I expected more than this from them.

2. Tomorrow
3. Out Of Time
4. Black Heart
5. Cry Cry

We're not? Speak for yourself. I am. But to choose Black Heart over Same on the Inside/Tomorrow as a second single.. Not a good idea IMO.

1. Same on the Inside
2. Out Of Time
3. Tomorrow
4. Black Heart
5. Cry Cry
