He did briefly talk about the bad vibes Scott was bringing to the band.  I would like to interview Scott, I've been calling it like I see it with him though with his terrible shows this year and if I interviewed him I would not pretend that I think his shows this year have been good, or that I think he shouldn't have been fired.  I'd show him a tremendous amount of respect for the music he's made, and knowing from the people I've talked to that deep down he is a good hearted guy.  It's just the damn booze unfortunately that's been causing his problems over the last few years.  My stepdad's liver is fucked to hell now because of it, so I've seen it with my own eyes.  Scott's headed down that path if he doesn't change his lifestyle.

I'd ask Scott if he's seen any videos of his performances from this year, and I'd tell him that I wasn't a fan of the arrangements and that he sounded off key on several songs.  Even if he'd hang up on me, it'd be a chance for somebody other than a Yes Man to give him feedback.  I'd give him a chance though to tell his side of the story, but if he starts lying or bullshits I'm not going to sit there.  I'd like to really get down to his legitimate thoughts and feelings right now.

If your really gave him those opinions, you'd definitely get hung up on or have Scott tell you off. That may suck that he would do that, but it's likely to occur. That would also be good for your website to have an interview where Scott blows up at you, many would love to view it... or better yet listen to it.

I think I could word it in a reasonable way.  But like I said while I'd like Scott to stop drinking, if I ever interviewed him I wouldn't bring that stuff up.  It's his business and obviously me saying something about that won't make a difference, but I do think it'd be interesting to see if he's aware of the fanbase's displeasure with his most recent tour.  I'd also be curious as to why he lied about the Velvet Revolver reunion last year.

The journalists that really disrespect Scott are the one's that just refer to him as a junkie.

Dream come true.  If you told me I'd be meeting the band and interviewing them when I became a die hard fan 8 or so years ago I'd have called you nuts.  It's an honor to talk to these guys and let them know how much their music has meant to me (Scott too when I met him 5 years ago).  If I could interview Scott I'd tell him the same thing....then I'd ask why he sang Where The River Goes off key every night this year lol.
