Submit questions for Eric Kretz!

I'm interviewing the Kretzel tomorrow for my site AlternativeNation.net, any questions you'd like me to ask about his 25 year dictatorship of the band?  I plan on asking about the early days of Swing (earliest STP incarnation), the songs he's written (Ring Twice, Trippin), and about his approach on Black Heart which I think is his standout track on High Rise.

I know he's got the capabilities to play some crazy stuff (ie intro to "Naked Sunday"), but he generally sticks to more straightforward beats and fills. Why?

My question is similar to the one listed above. Does he stick to a more simplistic approach because the Deleo brothers and Scott write such beautiful stuff that he doesn't want to "drum over it" and block out their magic. Basically he appears to have no ego and realizes the greatness of the Deleo brothers and Scott, so he doesn't want to overdo his drumming and take away attention from that.

One, I'd like to know more about his approach to being half of the rhythm section opposite such an interesting and busy bassist. In other words, how does Robert's style influence his approach to a song?

Two, it'd be interesting to understand the difference between renting a house and "living"/recording there (a la Tiny Music and Shangri-La) versus working in a studio (a la No. 4 and STP). Since he owns a studio I feel like he is in a unique position to answer this, as opposed to Dean.

What does self-producing bring to the table as opposed to Brendan O'Brien and vice versa?

Lastly, it would be great if he could clear up some of Dean's confusion regarding the Mighty Joe Young songs that have leaked online, including Only Dying.

PLEASE! Ask him about the four songs STP recorded in 2002 after their spring tour. One of them was All In The Suit That You Wear, where/what were the other three?

That's a false rumor, all they recorded was Suit.
