Thanks for posting that. I thought they sounded really good, although Chester sounded like he had a cold or was just tired or something. His voice was strong but normally it's even stronger live

I think they just need to stay away from HD.  Especially Dean.

on a side note, eric's drums didn't display the usual "stp" logo. instead it had a tartan plaid circle design. wonder if it was due to the ongoing legal issues.

I was thinking the same thing... especially since he doesnt cover it up on tour.

I was very interested to see how they were going to be introduced and they definitely are trying to avoid legal issues.  It's STP w/ Chester.

Was just thinking about this...They display it live, and technically, it's not the name of the band. Maybe Leno has an advertiser that sells a competing product?

I was there yesterday. Stroke of luck I had stuff cancelled and my day was free. Was on the floor, close to the stage. Lots of waiting as usual for TV shows, but worth it as I haven't seen them since May.  Live, they sounded GREAT.  As someone else pointed out, Leno is *notorious* for bad audio for bands when shown.  The crowd was into it as Black Heart is very catchy. Jay's a fan of them.


They were tight, but I still think that the musicianship of Rob, Dean and Eric sometimes overwhelms Chester.  I've said it before, I'll say it again. the three of them looks so happy and relaxed without the extra behind the scenes stuff eating away at them.
