Interviewer asked great questions.  And I thought Chester did a nice job answering him.  But why didn't the interviewer ask him, if you're out there trying hard to prove yourself why not just start a new band.  Not looking for responses from the peanut gallery but would've been nice to hear the answer.  Always like Chester.  Still not supporting this effort.

I would like someone to ask Chester, how would you feel if you were kicked out of Linkin Park for a younger replacement and your band bashed you in the press while playing all the songs you wrote melodies to?

You sound as if you think Scott was removed just because they wanted someone younger.  No one in the band is bashing Scott.  They briefly explained why they did what they did and for the most part, compliment him on the work he did over the years.

I understand that, what bothers me the most is that Chester's reasoning for not joining VR was bc he had too much respect for Scott, but then he joins his main musical project and replaces him. Chester is doing an admirable job, but i'm tired of everyone sucking the Deleo's brothers dicks around this site, 90% of this site supports not having Scott in STP anymore, and that makes me sick.

Apparently you don't understand. We support the Deleo bro's & Kretzel because they can finally release new music & tour on a consistent basis. i.e. Without a drunk, high out of his mind Scott Weiland.  Delusional I tell you.
Sophisticated yet different, without making a fuss about it.

And I'm pretty sure Chester would say that if he was fucking everything up for the band like Scott has, Linkin Park would have every right to kick him out and replace him with someone with work ethic.

And more than 90% of this site would have supported the decision to go on with a suitable replacement for Dean if it was him who was too fucked up to play and kept screwing the band over.

Let me fix your numbers for you: 100% of us would've preferred Scott continue to be the lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots, but 90% of us have come to terms with the fact that he's not fit to be STP's singer anymore. The other 10% are in denial.

Agree. Particularly if Chester had gathered a band of hobos for a "Meteora at the Hybrid Theory" tour.

I'm right with you.  Don't mistake LP fans joining this site as true supporters of STP.  This is STP w/ Chester or whatever they're trying to call it, not STP.  As soon as people hear the new music, it will be a quick death and we'll see these guys touring the greatest hits as they've done since the start.  Because nobody will give a shit except some LP fans out there.  And maybe some drunk people in Oklahoma who live near Indian casinos that were given free tickets at the local 711.

Riiiiiiight. Those TWO LP fans who have joined the forum are why the majority on this site are supporting the new line-up.

"Out of Time" sure sent them to a quick death by hitting #1 on modern and active rock.
