 + INFINITY!

Finally a positive post!

I keep thinking that all the Chester haters are thinking back to the very beginning of Linkin Park when they did songs like One Step Closer and In The End and they somehow think that STP is going to end up like  a rap/rock/nu-metal type band. Not true. People need to learn to let go of the past and move on. Simple as that. Each and every one of us still love Scott and wish him the best for his solo career. If the rest of the STP guys have moved on then it's about time we all follow suit and do the same. Clearly the ones that say "No Scott= No STP" annnnnd we have seen a lot of them, haven't moved on. The whole whining about Chester has gotten really old really fast! Either move on and accept this new lineup or go find another band to listen to!

Well that being said, I've always liked Linkin Park so I'm very excited about the new STP! Can't wait!

Lastly I too looked at the title of this post and thought of the Leave Britney Alone video as well. lol

Remember you said you were here to discuss Weiland and his music?

You're not doing that, are you?

Based off of Out Of Time and the live performances that I've seen I've decided that I'm very optimistic of the direction of STP.  Sure it's not Scott and the boys anymore, but I'm not sure how much genuine, organic music the four of them had left.  It obviously reached a breaking point and I'm glad to see ChesTP putting on perfectly solid performances, billing themselves as STP with Chester, and getting straight to work on new music.  They're checking out in my book.  Still hoping for the best with Scotty.

Not sure why we all can't post in the thread created for this particular show.  Are the mods so upset about Chester being in STP, that we now can't even talk about it?

It's a board glitch I have seen before a few years back. I don't think it's anything deliberate.

I was at the show.  By far the best STP show I've been to, and I've been to a lot.  Everyone in the band seemed to be more into than they have been in years.

Nice, I'm officially envious. I bet i'll be waiting for hell to freeze over before this incarnation of STP makes it to the UK.

This should be the cover of the new EP, they should name it "Fuck you Scott." He's finally getting screwed after screwing us all over for years, it hurts but part of me feels great over it, just cause of what he's done to STP and my boys over the years.

Hmm...

Anyway, I wanted to thank LPAssociationDerek for his review of the show last night. Super excited for the guys. I'll see them in two weeks, and I can't wait.

I sense that the tide is slowly turning.
