This setlist should prove once and for all that the DeLeos and Eric weren't to blame for the constant hits setlist of 2008-2012.  The deep cuts sounded awesome tonight, especially Church on Tuesday.  I was in shock when they played that.  I forgot to mention that I got the guys to sign all six STP albums or me and a group photo.

I don't think this "proves" anything.  There have been countless interviews (especially old ones), with Scott talking about deeper cuts, while the DeLeos were all about "the hits".  Not to mention Scott's track record over the past few years on solo tours (deeper STP tracks, solo stuff, Christmas music, and tons of covers... hell, even full on cover shows!).  The only thing this proves is that Chester & the boys decided to do something different.  Plus I'm sure Chester had songs he prefered or fit his style better.

Church Of Tuesday sounds a bit off, but I think Piece Of Pie and Pop's Love Suicide are just brilliant.

Church on Tuesday kicked ass and what a beautiful solo from Dean!

Which is weird considering how different they are vocally. Chester being a Tenor and Scott being a High Baritone. Even their range is different, yet Chester is doing the songs justice.

Again, I'm still surprised of this despite being an LP fan. I didn't expect him to be able to pull off a song like Piece of Pie but he does it well.

So based off of previous performances by the band, interviews they've given concerning the upcoming shows, and this rehearsal I think it's safe to say the following songs will more than likely be included in the upcoming setlists:

"Dead and Bloated", "Sex Type Thing", "Interstate Love Song", "Wicked Garden", "Vasoline", "Trippin On A Hole In A Paper Heart", "Sex & Violence", "Pop's Love Suicide", "Piece of Pie", "Out of Time", "Church on Tuesday", "Big Bang Baby", and "Sin"

Then, as Robert told Brett, they may be playing "Take A Load Off" and "Fast As I Can".

Of course the setlists will probably switch up a little, and different songs will be played but the above seem likely to be performed at some point during the tour.

As for how many songs, I'm not sure how similar Chester is planning to make these shows to LP shows, but traditionally at a Linkin Park show they will play about 22 songs (full set and 3-4 song encore) and the show will last at least 90 minutes. However; Linkin Park's songs though are typically short, whereas quite a few STP songs push or exceed 6 minutes. That may impact the amount of songs that will be played.

Either way, I imagine they'll play at least 1-2 new songs so going off of the above and the new songs I think it's safe to say the show will be a really solid mix of deep cuts, greatest hits and new material.

*Fingers crossed for Crackerman*

Fantastic stuff! Delighted for you, Brett, stoked for the whole band too. I'm loving the vids - things are finally looking up.

Watching those videos was equivalent to watching your own dog be put to sleep.
