Sorry if there is alreaay a discussion on this but I can't see it. This has popped up on my Bands in Town app:

It lists "Members of STP, Dean & Rob Deleo & Eric Kretz" as performing. Interestingly Slash & Duff are on the same bill, but even more interestingly it also lists Chester Bennington as a special performer. Obviously the guys will be needing someone to sing for them if they are going to perform any STP tracks, and we know he's a big fan who has performed with them before...

What do you guys think?

           That sounds pretty bad ass if Chester gets to jam a few STP songs! I do remember going to the Family Values Tour back in the early 2000's and him doing Dead & Bloated. Wouldn't mind seeing this happen at all!! Awesome!

Very interesting. Mainly because Eric is involved. The most recent STP breaks ups/hiatuses have been the DeLeos without him.

Could this have potential to lead to more than a random benefit gig? Let's wait and see.

I knew about this Musicares gig honoring Chester since the day it was announced without any further info.
I like Chester, but somewhere deep I was a little bit worried that there will be no legitimate high-profile musicians that would have liked to do a gig in Chester's honor.
Well, I'm pleased to be wrong seeing Deleos, Kretz, Kiedis, Slash and Duff on this list.

The ticket site says "members of Stone Temple Pilots" instead of simply saying Stone Temple Pilots, so they're not playing under the STP name then?
Because if they are playing under the STP name then why not just put STP there instead of members of STP.

Haha, hilarious their first post Scott show also has Slash and Duff on the bill.  A double fuck you.  I might go to this.  I wonder if Scott will try to weasel his way into the crowd so he can heckle them/serve them with legal papers, or singing from the crowd through a megaphone so he can back up his claim that he's still lead singer.
