The stories are contradictory (locked in the bathroom, no he's stuck in traffic, no he's backstage), but regardless of which one is true...he needs help. Actually, he needs to help himself. This going to sound funny, but he needs to look into DDP Yoga. If Jake 'The Snake' Roberts can get clean, anybody can.
The FB posts are real bad...some fucknut named Larry Toppi is spamming the Weiland page and attacking anybody who says anything positive. And...he's doing it in all caps like a pro. It's one thing to be pissed off because of Scott's issues. That is very understandable. It's another to start going off on people who don't deserve it.
THIS is how you write criticism...
Went to the Boston show tonight. Very unhappy! Both me and my wife are disabled but have seen you the last three times you were in the area. Tonight we got pit tickets to be as close as we could be to the stage. We had planned the night so we could enjoy it. After watching the MIGGS we were feeling good. Then we waited for an hour. We asked if you were in the building and told you were. 15 minutes later an announcement was made that you were just leaving your hotel and would be a few minutes. When you show up, now over 1 1/2 hours late, you come on stage and ramble on with this long story about why you were late and wanted us to feel sorry for you because you were wearing the same cloths for a second day. Everybody in the audience, that did not already leave pissed off, were telling you to just shut up and sing. Everybody thought you were messed up on something again. You were slurring everything and repeating yourself. Your own band members were rolling their eyes and flapping their lips mocking you when you babbled on. Me and my wife had planned on this being a great night out. Were we wrong. My wife was crying in pain after just one hour of your show because we had to wait so long. This was a waste of time and money. My wife loved every song you ever wrote before tonight. She swore she will never go see another one of you shows. I feel you no longer care about your fans that have made you what you are. We live on disability and cherish every penny we have. It means a lot to us to spend over $150 to see a band or to do anything else. I hope you can pull yourself together and rediscover where you came from. I have never taken the time to write to anybody like this because I figure what do you care what I have to say. I have also never been this disgusted with a performer before. Please find something that is important enough to you to get cleaned up for. Nobody can make you do it but I hope you know that there are many people that do look up to you. You are a role model even if you don't want to be. I hope you care about your own kids more then you do your fans, because you are proving that you have no respect for them at all.
Jeez...I think Scott needs to take a long hard look at where his life is headed, because this doesn't sound good at all.
