I have been messing around with my playlist in iTunes for what songs I THINK should have been on SLDD...and could have quite possibly made it one of the best albums I own...

1. Transmissions from a Lonely Room
2. Hello It's Late
3. You Can't Drive Me Away
4. Too Cool Queenie
5. Heed The Water Whisperer
6. Samba Nova
7. Bi- Polar Bear
8. Wonderful
9. About a Fool
10. Learning to Drive

38:40...but would be the best damn 38:40 I had heard in a long time....far cry from the mess that SLDD became.

Not bad, but I believe my revamped SLDD track list is better.  Considering that you put the No.4 outtakes on there for some reason.

1.  Dumb Love
2.  Days of the Week
3.  Coma
4.  Hollywood Bitch
5.  Wonderful
6.  Black Again
7.  Hello, It's Late
8.  About a Fool
9.  Too Cool Queenie
10.  Regeneration
11.  Bi-Polar Bear
12.  Transmissions From a Lonely Room
13.  A Song for Sleeping
14.  Long Way Home
15.  Samba Nova (great fade out which raps up the album nicely)

Ya; because they didn't make No.4, did they? Which means they could have easily made it onto SLDD...which is why I placed them on MY playlist.

 [_[

Days of the Week is by far the worst song this band has ever done...so having that on your playlist, automatically voids any valid opinions which you may have.

If you put Regeneration after Samba Nova, then I agree that this would be a much better track listing.  Mabby's is too long.

I think Sean already proved that she's an idiot.   ;)
How could they not notice it?! Because it's a little mint.  It's a Junior Mint!

Not much of a stretch considering that was the original track list for SLDD before About A Fool and Samba Nova were cut.
Rest in Peace Mr. Weiland.

If I had to redo SLDD I'd have them write more songs that sound like About A Fool, Samba Nova, Black Again and Hello It's Late. But since I can't do that I'm going to substitute the songs cut from No. 4 since they're fairly mellow. I'm also cutting all the rockers from SLDD. Not because they're not good songs, but because they just don't fit the vibe I wanted with this album. Here is my revised playlist:

About A Fool
Heed The Water Whisperer
Wonderful
Samba Nova
Too Cool Queenie
Black Again
Hello It's Late (dvd version)
You Can't Drive Me Away
Transmissions From A Lonely Room
A Song For Sleeping
Bi-Polar Bear
Learning To Drive
Rest in Peace Mr. Weiland.

The two SLDD outtakes most definately should have made the final cut.. one track (besides DOTW) I cant stand is Long Way Home.. the album should end on a soft note..
