If Tiny Music had been released in 2002, as one critic pondered, BBB would have topped critics lists for best song of that year, and TM would have been considered album of the year potential.
That is almost EXACTLY what a press article said back a month or so ago...
Isn't that why he said "as one critic pondered?"
How could they not notice it?! Because it's a little mint.  It's a Junior Mint!

I don't know about that.  But last night as I listened to the 5 songs I was sitting in a rocking chair watching the sunset holding my 4 month-old son as he drifted off to sleep.  It'll probably be one of my most peaceful, happy memories.
Congrats Sledgehammer on your new bundle of joy! A Song for Sleeping should take on new meaning for you...My girl is expecting a baby boy in September and I am anxiously waiting!!

Keep those Patton lyrics comin' my friend...

Thanks Cap'n!  And congratulations to you both as well!  As I'm sure everybody's told you, you're in for a life changing experience.  But it'll be a great one (there are no words).  Oh, just two pieces of advice I'm sure you've already heard, stock up on as much sleep as you can NOW.   :D   And if mom is having problems with morning sickness, have her try atomic fireballs (that's right - the little candy balls).  It's the miracle cure-no joke.

i don't understand your post.  It seems like you're calling him out on something.

anyways, I think the article was a Tower Records promo piece.

While frantically searching for my tape of the "Ellen" show, which I recorded yesterday, I stumbled upon my taped episode of "Roadie Chefs II" - which STP appeared on shortly before the release of SLDD.

Anyway, it shows Robert playing part of "Somba Nova" in one of the scenes, I thought it was cool, and figured that I should share.  Anyone else with this on video should check it out.  They also play part of "Days of the Week."   :)

It was some stupid thing on the Food Network... I'm not even sure that it's still on.

For some reason, I remember hearing about this...Not sure when...
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

Is anyone else going through or has gone through an addiction to this song? I love the bossa nova sound and the chorus is like crack to my ears. In fact, that collection of unreleased tracks are all awesome.

Easily one of the best songs STP has ever done. Can't believe it never made an album. Same with You Can't Drive Me Away. Should have been on No.4.

Great point. If I ever had the chance to ask them anything, Samba Nova and You Can't Drive Me Away being omitted from SLDD and No. 4 would be it. I think YCDMA would've been a better choice for No.4 than MC5, for example.
