GREAT JOB SCOTT!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!

In my opinion, I think this is one of the coolest things ever done by an epic rockstar.

He is such a badass vocalist, not only does he throw down hard rock, but he can do Christmas CLASSIC STYLE.

I love the album, it makes me feel good. So cool to see this side of Scott.

Thanks for this Scott!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

anyone seen the movie "this boys life" ? with robert de niro, ellen barkin and the young di caprio ...playing in the 40- 50ties ,  (the de niro character) scott has this de niro / bing crosby style nowadays... like he always mentions .. fashion and art goes intwine... and that makes his performing style originally, the same technique the the icon / legend David Bowie has..

Strange, he seems to have put much more effort into the videos than the album...

I truly enjoy some of the tracks from the Christmas album and I thoroughly appreciate how diverse Scott's voice is.  I really cannot think of another vocalist that has sounded and looked so many different ways over the span of 20 years.  Even "re-inventors" like Madonna and Bowie are recognizable, regardless of sound and style.  However, this song just sounds strange.  It sounds off tempo or something.  It's as if Scott layed the vocals and someone did a "waaa-waaa-waaaa-waaaaahhhhh" slow motion on the track.  If it were just a tad bit faster, (I don't know the musical terminology for what I am trying to describe), this could be a solid song.  As it stands, I feel as though I am listening to a very drunk Uncle at a piano bar.  The Uncle can definitely sing, but he shouldn't have been allowed behind the mic after the fourth Erk & Jerk-spiked eggnog.

On a side note, one of my favorite Christmas tunes is "Blue Christmas."  Melissa Etheridge has a stellar cover of that classic Elvis tune and I think it would have been pretty cool to hear Scott's take on it, (even though it isn't a "classic Christmas standard").
Are you good and lubed up?
