When Libertad came out, I really thought that they stepped it up a notch over Contraband, which I loved. I thought Libertad was more of an artistic stretch, with more diverse elements and influences (from The Last Fight to Spay to Don't Drop That Dime), which I can't help but assume was Scott's doing. I remember reading somewhere that all the music for Contraband was basically written and demo'd before Scott even joined the band. So for all that, I though Contraband was amazing, but Libertad was better.
