just got an email about this show, I can't go, but correct me if I'm wrong, but bands do this "show" and its like a storytellers isn't it? broadcast later on tv?

I got instantly excited about that show, because I live in Austin.


HOWEVER, this is not one of the ACL TV show tapings.  The Austin show is just another concert, except its hosted at the "ACL" Moody Theater. 


Again, this is not one of the ACL TV show tapings, that is a different animal and tickets are typically raffled off for the TV show.

Aaron - were you able to get tickets to this?  I live in Austin as well and just now got off work... Are we supposed to go to Moody to purchase?  I think it would be a great venue to see them!

Man, I hope I can go! I was really excited when I saw this scheduled, Moody Theater would be an awesome venue and Austin is one of my favorite cities!

Got mine too! 2nd row balcony, it'll be a different perspective from my first two shows where I was on the floor. I'm sooo excited, I love Austin and the Hill Country!

New to this forum and virgin to seeing STP live, although I have been a long time fan.  They don't come around my area very often... I will, however be in Austin on the 16th and WILL be seeing STP!  Got my tickets on the floor today!

Has anybody heard of the band "Jetstream"? The ACL Live website says they are opening. I don't see an opening band for the Dallas show though, so i'm not sure if this is just a one show thing or what.
