I'd have loved for Scott to have done another VR album before he left..... 

But, if it's between one last VR album or a reunion album with STP (and likely more STP albums to follow), I have to go with the latter.  Just way more potential in the long run.  Although, I hate to say, but I think 'Libertad' was a better album than STP's latest.

S/T is my favorite STP album ever along with Shangri-la Dee Da, so....
But just like Andrew said, I wouldn't have complained about another VR album. I liked their music a lot.

Somewhere in an alternative reality STP and VR co-exist.

I dig the S/T-album but a 3th VR would be amazing.
 
Speaking of VR; does anyone on this forum know where to find the alternative version of 'Loving the alien' ? I've been loooking all over the internet but no-find.

It was a demo that Doug Grean produced I believe.  I like it better than the album version.

Instead of having Contraband, I would have much rather have had the hard rock album that STP was planning on making before they broke up

Contraband was great, Libertad was even better, a third record would've been magnificent. I'm still hoping for it (let me dream, ok? ;) )
I love Selft-titled as much as any other STP album.

If I'd have to choose between S/T or a third VR record, Self-titled 'cause I like DeLeo's work better (I LOVE what the guys on VR do/did, but it's DeLeo who we're talking about here), but I'd prefer both;D

I wasn't a fan of the patchwork recording of S/T, so whatever band would work and record in the same studio at the same time making music they love is what I would like to hear.

S/T is my least favorite STP release by far. I would have preferred a VR album not because I would've liked it better but because then there wouldn't be an STP album that I don't like. Plus it would give me hope for the future. I have to admit that I don't see much potential in the future output of STP.

Deff. glad STP did the S/T album but im curious as to what VR would have done on there 3rd effort.

ANd who-ever said the AOA album with Scotts vocal and lyrics .. kudos.

I dont give a fuck if its a new VR or STP album. I want NEW material by Scooter ASAP! . For real.. and by new, i mean no fucking album covers. Even though it would still be great and.. something! :)...

The christmas record sounds  very nice as well... !

I would have preferred to hear Rob's solo album with Slash as his back up player, Kretzy banging the pots, and Matt Sorum as the midnight janitor for the studio
