So I elected to see Incubus in September over Blink-182. I really hope I do not regret this, because I do like Blink-182 better.

By far the better choice

Just got back from the Isle of Wight festival yesterday and saw loads of great live acts, Foo Fighters, Pulp, Iggy and the Stooges, Manic Street Preachers, Wild beasts, Kasabian, We Are Scientists and Seasick Steve to name some. Had such a great time, and it only rained for a bit on the Sunday, which is a near miracle for a British festival!

Incubus is a FANTASTIC live act. You will not be disappointed.

I am not much of a Blink fan. Last I checked, they do a bunch of dick and fart jokes, and those were funny back in 1999. I do imagine they would be fun to check out however.

Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

Saw the Drive-By Truckers on Sunday night in Buffalo.  I went with a friend who has accompanied me to a few STP shows -- sort of returning the favor.  I had heard of DBT but only knew a handful of songs before going to the show, but I was absolutely blown away.  I'm glad I went.  Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley alternated songs all night and Shonna Tucker sang a few as well.  Lots of energy and just flat out rock from these guys. (and girl)  The venue (Town Ballroom) is terrific as well.  Seats about 500 and is just a cool place to see a show.  DBT will be on Letterman on June 21st.  Worth checking out IMO.

Deftones all depends on Chino.  Ive seen 'em twice, the first was way back when they toured with Incubus and they, he, were off.  Saw them last year and he, and they were really tight and was a great show.

Hmm im not into Deftones, but that statement could be easily used in other bands..... (*cough* STP bcuz of Scotty *cough*)

Scotty, beam me up. (I wonder if he's ever gotten that in RL).
STP doesn't just make awesome songs, they make awesome songs about life.

He's right on about the Deftones though. I've seen them three or four times. When Chino has an off night, the band suffers. When he's on, they deliver the goods.

I could easily say the same for Scott too. I agree with that.

I have no reviews yet...  but This is my lineup so far for the summer

7/16:  311 and Sublime with Rome: My best friend likes 311 as much as I like STP.  Also excited to see Sublime, even if it is with  Rome.

7/19:  Stone Temple Pilots:  Obviously the most exciting!!!

7/20:  Matisyahu: Well, I'm trying to buy tickets to this.  For some reason ticketmaster won't let me right now, but I really hope I can get to go.  He's crazy different and I dig it.  Just now starting to get into some off his stuff.

8/21: Blink 182 and My Chemical Romance:  Not looking forward to My Chemical Romance but Blink should be fun.  I'm mainly going because one of my friends really wants me to go I saw them with her 2 years ago so it's like "Yeah lets go see them again!"

After paying $75 for Soundgarden and close to another $70 for A Perfect Circle, I long for the old days when concert tickets were under $50 for good seats. I realize that this is the way artists make their money now, but man, they sure know how to gouge the fan.  Now, unless you have plenty of funds to go around, you have to pick and choose your Summer concerts.

Well, I almost have to go because Myrtle Beach never gets any good shows. So, I have to settle for bands that I just feel ok about and pay $55 for them. I want to see the Foo Fighters so badly, but they are only coming to Atlanta and Charlotte and I cannot miss two days of school. Super pissed they are not coming around on a weekend.

A decade ago, when they toured with our boys.

I'm not really a fan of their stuff (it mostly all sounds the same to me) - but they do put on a decent show.  High energy, lots of crowd interaction.  At least, they did ten years ago... it's been that long since I've seen them.
How could they not notice it?! Because it's a little mint.  It's a Junior Mint!
