I do not know about a release date.

It is about Bob Forrest and his story about battling drugs among other things. There are a variety of musicians featured in the movie.

it's on real limited release. I asked on FB if it was going to be shown at the Tribeca Film Festival and sadly no. All I know was Toronto & SXSW.
I hope it comes to the Angelika or Sunshine in NYC, Thelonious Monster was a really cool band and big around LA the same time as Jane's & RHCP so I really want to see this.
Besides Bob seems like a good guy who's fought hard for his sobriety

scott in it or not it looks interesting....The clip where he is on stage and asking someone in the aud for $20 in heroin.. can you imagine having something take full control of your life like that
