It doen't seem to me that he was joking about Dean...wonder what was going on.
This is Scott at the very beginning of his "Change"!  You can tell he's grinding away :)

I get what you're saying about this being from the beginning of Scott's "change", but what do you mean by "grinding"?

Wow... Scott was in such a bad way back then. I always love the 94 performances, but Scott always seemed so out of it when ever he spoke.

I think he was totally joking. See, The Chili Peppers have had so many guitarists it had become a joke, as in "everybody's" played in rhcp. Frusciante left in 92 and he was the third guitarist to leave (while Hillel Slovak was the original guitarists, some uknown guy Jack something played on their first record, not Hillel) then Hillel, then John and then about two or three guys who toured with them 92-94, until they found Dave Navarro.

Haha ok I get it.  That makes sense :)
Scott's sense of humour and delivery of jokes has always been quite sly and sarcastic... ::)

Yeah I agree with Comatose Commodity, he was definitely kidding about Dean auditioning for RHCP. And Aylin, thanks for the clarification...I thought about that but assumed I was interpreting "grinding" too literally lol

Why does this video's description say he "takes a shot"?  I don't see any shot taking lol.  And I don't think Scott is coked up on this video to be honest.

It says he takes a shot at Dean.  Just gotta click the down arrow.

Yeah, that is probably the reason Weiland, himself, hates the internet.  ;)
