It probably won't see the light of day for the next five years, but atleast we know it's finished :)

Woah!  Well, I'm totaly eating my words.

But Dougie... "That's all I should say?" - wtf? Shouldn't this get hyped up and discussed to death? Seems to me like keeping quiet about a new album is a bit silly - unless the goal isn't to sell the hell out of it.

Unreleased tracks, eh? Think we'll see a mastered HTWW? Maybe some remastered goodies off 12BB (like D#5, which was the original title of the book?)

On top of the fact that Doug posted that on April Fools Day and that he's quite the trickster, don't you think we would have heard whispers about the recording of such an album?  Scott wasn't triple-timing and touring with STP, finishing his autobiography, AND recording a secret solo disc that no one has heard anything about.

the part that really gets me is "What's that make three in the last year?" - there hasn't been any albums in 3 years. Grean is the most sarcastic person possibly in the world. That was all written on April Fool's Day. But yeah, his other responses on facebook make it seem more real. Just remember to be very cautiously optimistic. Just because it's "finished" doesn't mean Weiland will agree to let it see the light of day. Cautious optimism people, cautious optimism... I'd hate to see you guys get really bummed when/if it gets pulled. We've been Weiland fans for too long to really get our hopes up.
