so has anyone been to this venue before? i checked out the site but there is no seating chart and the pics they do have up don't really give you an idea of what it looks like inside
It's all GA. There's a "balcony" with about 4 rows of seats around the entire floor, but these aren't open for concerts. It's a fucking horrible venue. Saw The Cult there in '09 for free, and said I'd never go back. Guess I was wrong. The acoustics are shit, and the security are complete assholes. When I was there for The Cult, we were parked behind their tour bus. We were actually told we had to wait until they left to get to our car, which was fucking ridiculous. Another girl maybe in her late 20's in the same situation mouthed off to the asshole stopping us from getting to our cars, and he threatened to "beat the shit out of her if she didn't shut the fuck up". Exactly the type of people you want working security at concerts.
I'd highly advise going to another show if at all possible. I'll still be there as it's a hometown show, and unless I'm wrong, the first time STP have ever played Rochester.
