How does kretz have a rep as a trouble maker/shit starter?
Seen several posts from users here saying similar things about eric
saw a video where kretz said he was the jackass of the band but he definitly sounded like he was joking around

He is the most reserved guy of the band, the one that talk less in the interviews and has minor attention of the media.

So its like an inside joke for STP fans.. we just kind of exchange Scott and Kretz roles.

Seems like a humorous guy.. I like the rockarazzi interview when the interviewer asked dean what if his son wanted to grow up to be a musician and kretz says something like dont let him be a drummer!

It's just a joke man. Kretz is the LEAST likely of the band to start trouble.

Dude, any STP fan knows that Kretz is what brings this band down, and garners negative attention for the band.  He can never keep his head on straight, and is never dedicated to his craft.  I wish the best for him.

in 2001 he tried to change the band name to Eric and The Pilots.
The original album cover to shangri features Eric on a giant pedastool while the others were barely seen in the background.
He flirted with roberts wife and punched dean in the face
Also he fired weiland in 97. Thats why scott made 12BB
Axl Rose's ego is nothing compared to Kretz ego

 I always found that drummers develop an attitude due to the fact that they work harder than anyone else while playing and the fact that they are not in the lime light. Over time watching the whole picture everyday pounding away with all 4's they get pissed off quite easily.

I remember after a festival once, he stole a little kids ice cream and told her that she was "getting fat, bitch".  He was also addicted to paint thinner and the smell of burnt out matches, but I hear he's got that under control these days.  Now it's just the crack he has to worry about.

Apparently a five year old boy asked eric for an autograph and mentioned that he wanted a drum set for christmas so he could be just like his hero Eric Kretz.
Eric first responded by putting his cig out on the little kids forehead then said "if im signing anything tonight its gonna be your mothers tits. Now go get the bitch I want some anal"
