First things first, here's the setlist (if my memory serves me correctly):
Crackerman
Wicked Garden
Vasoline
Heaven & Hot Rods
Between the Lines
Hickory Dichotomy
Still Remains
Big Empty
Silvergun Superman
Plush
Interstate Love Song
Huckleberry Crumble
Down
Sex Type Thing
ENCORE:
Trippin' on a Hole in a Paper Heart
Overall, the band was kickass and sounded tight. They played the same set as some of the more recent shows, but I got to hear ones that I've never heard live before. Heaven & Hot Rods and Still Remains were two in particular that blew me away. Both choruses were just so powerful that it sent chills down my spine. Rob's bass was extremely loud on Still Remains so it beefed up the chorus a bit and gave it more of a harder edge which was a cool change from the studio version. The band also played a lot of jams; some were really cool, but others were just 'meh' and took up time. My only complaint would be that every song (with the exceptions of Sex Type Thing and Crackerman) was very slow in tempo and sometimes dragged on the song. I was a little disappointed with the slow tempos of Silvergun Superman and Interstate Love Song. Also, at one point Weiland rambled on for a while which was kinda strange, but Rob also referred to Weiland as Dr. Weiland, which was pretty funny.
It was a fun night, the band didn't disappoint, and I'm totally worn out. Goodnight, Below Empty, I'll see ya later!
