 Why would you say that about stage presence? Did you see any shows in March2010?? Where you at the vegas show?
Scott was connected with the entire band and the crowd to one of the best since regrouping . Just because he's not high on opiates climbing up stuff, swearing and pumped up attitude. I think there just comes a time especially for him and all he has done in his amazing career when maybe he has realized that the next addiction run will kill him fore sure.
 I'll take this Scott any day. This guy is for real and strong as an ox. I would have been dead along time ago. I get my ass kicked just after a trip to the airport and back and am whipped for a week after.  I can't even come close to imagine the stuff these guys go through. Starting with the life on the road,people,press,bad mouthers, rumour starters,etc.
 Just because the guy is honest with the people about his habits and addictions in past interviews people put that or simple little things and blow them out of proportion. I couldn't live a life under a microscope like that little alone keep truckin on the road year after year. Plus making new amazing music of all different styles.
 Just my 3 cents.

Those were taken backstage at Buzzfest (6.30.00, Cleveland) in Scooter's dressing room. After those photos, he began frantically searching for something to "give me" - he located his red feather boa, still wet with sweat, and handed it over. He also gave me a picture someone drew and tossed on stage, saying that he would lose it and that he "knew I would take care of it." - he was right, I still have it. :)

Wow STPGurl were you the one he was talkin about on stage on the radio broadcast during the show at buzzardfest that year?

It is my opinion, simple as that. I think this is the worst his stage presence has been his whole career, but as I previously said, he is still better than any other frontman. Really, it was more of a compliment than anything. Look at it this way, if you were to go to work and your boss said "man this has been your least productive day, but it was still better than ever other employee", that is a big compliment, right? Basically the same thing I said about Scott and his job, of being a rockstar.

Cool story Laura. I always knew Scott was'nt an asshole, even though I had no proof. It was just obvious to me he is just shy, not an asshole.

Knowing some of the "fans" I've met, (I won't say any names, but those who've been on here for a while know who I'm talking about) and knowing a guy who use to sell Scott drugs back in the day I don't blame Scott for keeping to himself. Actually knowing he doesn't want anything to do with this "old friend" of his, and the fact Scott says "get rid of him" when he's spotted makes me happy. Lord knows we've all had to cut people out of our lives for various toxic reasons. We just aren't on tour & people can't find us as easily as a famous person.

What the fuck, how do you get in his hotel room? Like I said before, I tried hard to find them after both shows, and I have to say I felt like it was a million to one shot just to find them.

I was just verrry lucky. All the stars were alligned that night. Believe me, I KNOW how hard it is to meet him. Vegas isn't like the rest of the tour. They don't do the bus thing out here. They fly if they can here & home. So I can't exactly wait for him to go to the bus. And he dissapears into the casino (back of the casino). And when he IS at home, they take cars. So it took me YEARS to meet him. I know the frustration very well.

I just happened to be at the right place at the right time and there he was and I yelled SCOTT!! He turned around and I told him I loved him. He said i have never believed in love at first sight untill now...and we live happily ever after

Exaxtly. It took me 13 stp shows finally meet a member of the band ( weiland )

I would always try to come up with ways to get backstage ( never worked, though I did get to the backstage area once just couldnt find them before security got me ) or look around for them after the show...
just seemed like it was never gonna happen..
Then this year in thackerville, I finally see weiland after the show and just went up to him and chatted for a couple of mins. Cool guy

When was this photo taken?  It kind of looks like scott from right after the reunion?
