Well that was a nice bit of nostalgia.  Nothing we haven't all listened to and watched endlessly since 2000, but cool nonetheless.

It was nice to know that we were all listening to it at the same time at least!  We don't get to feel the same things at the same time with all our board friends too often.. ;)

I just wish Scott would drop the Bowie impression...

Wished it was new. But awesome to get some classuc performance such as this played. Even worked on my droid. Some stations don't always work.

I think VR hurt his voice too. He's a singer, not a screamer.

Good stuff though. Thrilled they showed some love to them.

For the UK people however...go to bed. It's late.

Hahaha, well I'm still up and I might as well watch the Golden Globes for a bit whilst listening to this channel, because I'm boring and I don't have to work tomorrow :)

But yes I do love Scott's voice from this time. In all honesty, I believe VR kind of killed his voice IMO

I don't think it's "killed" but I think Weiland has to retrain his voice to sing like this again.  Also I think he doesn't get excited about singing acoustic like this anymore.  That's what VR may have done to him...

Oh cmon, of course he used his voice in a bad way during the VR days but didnt you love those raw performances?

I think it actually might have enhanced Scott's impression of how dynamic his voice can be.
Seems like you left me when you broke down

Yeah I think VR didn't do his voice no favours especially with the screaming on Sucker Train Blues and rapidly stopping the scream?  OUCH to those vocals 8(

Is it just me or can anyone else hear the dryness of scott's vocals now? When I was even listening to Army Ants from 1994 and kinda recently, I could hear the difference in vocal - 1994 was a moist vocal, recent feels all dry and scratchy and needing lubrication.

I'd love to lubricate it for him..
