I'd actually go with the "El Crossbone" tie in Navy out of all the options they have left - they used to have way more colors of both styles which were much better, but looks like they may be getting rid of whatever's left.

If you do order - you can use this code "thanku30" for 30% off good until 1/1/11.  I got on their mailing list after ordering a while back.  :)

I like the gold one better, but I definitely don't like it enough to spend almost 60 dollars on a tie. Even with a 30% off code. I'd rather buy Scott's sweat with that money or something. And I don't even really want that. A 60 dollar tie?!

Wouldn't really get a tie with a skull and crossbones on it, kinda ruins the formal style of a tie, i'd go for the slade crove tie in brown stripe...that's easily the best tie on there

Having bought some SW clothes for my husband, I can testify to the quality of his merchandise. I know some of the other girls on here have also bought things for their guys, and also reported that they were very pleased with the fabric, detail, and quality.

Personally, I *like* the skull and crossbones, but to each his/her own! Go with a color that works with what you have, that way you can wear it with a few things to achieve different looks. :)
How could they not notice it?! Because it's a little mint.  It's a Junior Mint!

the gold
it would go with more suits-black, navy, brown, grey...
If you don't like STP, then you're pretty much not American (from a MO message board)

A 60 dollar tie?!

I bought a $40 tie once thinking it was $20, but I was already attached too it because it went with my outfit so well. I STILL hear it from my wife. Hehe.

Personally, I think both ties are kind of blah.
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

well this sort of helped. good points all around. still split though. as are the voters.

and for those of you who think 60 bones is a lot, check out those Ferragamo ties.

Splash a bit on accessories if you can if your clothes are budget as it can make the overall look be more expensive 8)
