Ive always thought that the best "Replace" for a singer in VR, would be Lenny Kravitz or Lizzy Devine.

But apart from those 2, only Scott could fill the space in there

He does have a successful career and he is veeeeeeeery well all by himself, but im just saying that the mix of the VR guys with his guitar playing and voice would be a blast.

Lenny is a mix of Rock, funk & R&B. He is no where close to being VR material.
Why do you think Slash handed him the riff for "always on the run"? Because it was too funky for GnR
Lenny is NYC/PARIS/BAHAMAS/NEW ORLEANS. All those places influence his music .
VR is all about that hellhole called Hollywood.

Everyone else has other projects going on. BUT him. Hell, isn't Slash booked with tour dates til like may??

  He's in his own little world thinking that VR is gonna take the world over, not realising that the others are really not that bothered.  I can just see him sitting in an "interview room" in his house, just him on his own being really serious about the process.  And Slash is touring the world taking drugs and screwing women..

What?? Slash is certainly not taking drugs. He's been sober a long time...

The only name that's come up I'd be interested in them picking up is Corey Taylor. He'd still be a downgrade from Weiland obviously, but he's an interesting choice. If it's someone like Myles Kennedy or Royston Langdon though it's not gonna be anything worth listening to

The ONLY thing Myles Kennedy done that I thought was good was with Slash on Starlight. Myles would not be a good choice for VR.

There does seem to be a groundswell of opinion that it's Corey Taylor.

And I do think that could work. He certainly has the charisma and vocal ability.

My question would be - does he write much? I genuinely don't know.

My point being that Duff & Matt are not enough to rely on creatively and, since anyone who has read Slash's book knows, he's not able to help out much so Corey better have some ideas I think.

Not that I'm excited for Scott's replacement here but I'm very curious as to who the new signer is. I did enjoy both albums.

Of course, I prefer STP over VR, no question, but gotta be honest and say that if STP & VR were ever to co-exist with Scott, I'd be on board. I always thought that they would work it out somehow. I figured it would be healthy for Scott in the sense that he seems to like reorganizing his furniture periodically. (a chance to miss the other group)

Clearly, that's not happening, so that's beside the point. (plus more STP is better anyway) Still wish they'd change the name though.

normally I'd be apprehensive, but given that he has given us a hard deadline, I sincerely have hope this time
