am i the only one who think Usher's been extremely pitchy in both tonight's performance and at the super bowl halftime show? is the dude gettin old or is it the autotune he used to be pretty awesome. or maybe i was just young...
didnt watch this one but it has to be hard to sing and dance like that

Oh yea, have you seen Prince live?
Yes you CAN do both PLUS play guitar. AND he plays for 2 1/2 hours
Shows who's a true musician/performer and who isn't!
If you don't like STP, then you're pretty much not American (from a MO message board)

Hahaha exectly!!!

Mick Jagger basically showed everyone else on the show how it should be done and what it means to be a real rock star (except Dylan, who is also a god)...

Okay, I kinda am not a fan of Arcade Fire anymore...watching them live kind of ruins it.
Mumford and Sons on the other hand...

I hope the M&S haters realized how great of a group they are. If not, that's fine too because I respect your opinion.

I like Mumford & Sons.  They're also seem like very down to earth nice guys.
I hate the pretentiousness of Arcade Fire, even though the music isn't BAD as such.
It's all so confusing..

What is the point of 2 drummers?
Two drummers used in the right way with one doing the highs and the other doing the low runs is like an octopus playing drums which is very powerful. Bands have been doin that since the sixties like JeffersonAirplane, GratefulDead and Allman Bros. The Deads were the best with MickeyHart doing all this tribal stuff filling the gaps as Bill was an open handed not a crossover drummer total spaz. Unbelievable to hear when the entire band is playing all together. DaveMathews has an open handed drummer too named Carter Beauford who is unbelievable.
Sorry to hijack the thread with drummer talk.
hawk.
ps. Haven't seen anything on youtube this morn about who or were they even there.

M&S are truly down to earth. I got to talk with the piano and bass player about all the different types of music they're into and it just seemed like I was talking to one of my buddies.
But when I was talking to Marcus, on the other hand, I was just thanking him for writing incredible lyrics lol. He was very grateful though.
