Black Rain is the weakest song ... and "New Fang" seemed like it came out 2 years ago

i like soundgarden and all... but to release a b-side almost 20 years later looking for a quick cash in seems cheap especially if it were to win a grammy

hell.. stp could out do them by releasing only dying as a single

IMO...it's MEH.
I personally like everything of theirs from OHM and up...then they got lazy, complacent, a little repetitive & boring. IMO.
Which proves my point. IF the grammy's were really a celebration of artistic music and not just what you hear consistently on the radio then BSSM would have wiped the floor with the Grammy's. And not Stadium Arcadium. The bigger the arena, the more grammy's won by mediocre music.
Patti smith would have won a grammy, Lou Reed would have won a grammy for music (instead of Best Long form Video, WTF is THAT??), David Bowie would have also won for his MUSIC (he won for a short form video & Lifetime achievement award, the award they give you when they realize they fucked up and you should have won awards for years)

Wow thought this was a great effort by RHCP....prob 2nd favorite release by them to blood sugar....

My list would go:
BSSM
OHM
MM
FS

the rest was meh except Californication because I liked "road trippin"

How I would rank the RHCP albums that I own:

By The Way (LOVE that album! Highly underrated. Great for road trips)
Stadium Arcadium (Very little filler for a double album IMO)
BSSM
Californication
MM
OHM

Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

So, tonights the night and even though the Grammys and the whole institution it represents is bullshit, I still want to wish our boys good luck. You never know, maybe the world wiLl stop spinning for a second and STP will win the grammy..

I doubt it though :)

But anyway, I'll still be watching (maybe will get a glimpse of the boys) and in the event of an STP win, I expect you all to come online for celebratory cyber champagne.

After STP, I'm also rooting for AiC for the win because they have been nominated so many times and haven't won.  It would be nice to see...

Let the games begin...

Somebody's going to post about this as soon as they win, right? Because I am definitely not going to watch it on television.

Haha yeah we'll post it!  I've just got it on in the background so I can see if our boys have any red carpet interviews.

The first WTF moment:  Lady fucking Gaga has just arrived at the venue being carried in an egg.  Yeah you kind of have to be there I guess.
