I got this email from Softdrive Records street team and it said

"On November 9th, the double disc version of ScottWeiland’s solo album, “Happy” in Galoshes, will beavailable via presale exclusively at BestBuy.com! Youhave less than a week to save up, so get ready!"

So with these e-mails, Softdrive's "statement", and the BestBuy pre-sale....  does that all mean the deluxe edition will be available on the 25th as well as the single disc? Or are they still releasing the single disc on the 25th, and then the deluxe edition in January?

I'm sorry, but I'm confused....is the deluxe cd the only one we need then? I mean, the difference between the normal one and the deluxe one is that the deluxe one has more tracks, bigger booklet and the free t-shirt. Is that the only difference between them?
and the one at best buy, that's the deluxe one, right?

does anyone know a site that ships outside of the US (to europe) and where i can pay with paypal. other than ebay.

1)  Are the single and double disc versions both coming out on 11/25?
2)  Is the double disc version exclusive to best buy? (you can begin to preorder on 11/09)

I find it funny that news about the album comes from media outlets and not from scott's official site.  Although, I see that his site has now been updated to include info about the best buy pre-order.

I actually *meant* the double disc, but wrote single...looks like you picked up on that though.  Do you have a link to the double disc?  I couldn't find it searching on their site.

Also, since STP'd made a little noise about releasing their record on their own, d/l only, I am surprised nothing is on iTunes for Scott's stuff...seems like he'd make more money that way.  Wouldn't have to pay any distribution, and those buying his stuff are likely all using iTunes, or capable of it, or at least know how to use it.  Anyways....

If The 2 disc version is exclusive to Bestbuy I hope they ship to the UK! Does anyone know? Saying that I managed to get the Best Buy 'Zeitgeist' for a reasonable price from ebay.

Just checked out BB.com for this "Pre-Sale" and under Scott Weiland you have 2 choices... 12BB, or Happy in Galoshes (single disc), but no deluxe edition.  There's a link to pre-order the deluxe edition, but it just tells you about it, without offering the option to actually pre-order anything.

Maybe it's still early, and they'll update later...

I am having the same issue.

It's a vicious circle - if you click on purchase on the "pre order" screen, it takes you back to the same page.

Maybe we should call.  :P

Hey Guys...

If you ordered the single CD, e-mail Best Buy and cancel it.  It's not the same as the "Deluxe Version" and there is currently no way to pre-order that online.  When I find out exactly how to do that, I'll let you know - I had to have them cancel my single CD cuz I want the "Deluxe Version" and I'm sure Shangri does too.  :P

CRAP!!!  I preordered this!  I just emailed bestbuy to find out WTF is going on and told them if it's NOT the deluxe to cancel it.  This is why I hate buying stuff online! >:(
