Uh no, I sure as hell wouldn't look at it that way.  Kanal & the guys are very talented.  Obviously their abilities have been shelved for a while now.  I'm glad someone (Scott) is actually utilizing their abilities/potential. 

I mean, don't get me wrong...I love Gwenni but her projects have overshadowed the guys for years now.

Tom, Tony and Adrian have been overlooked  a lot, but they are more than capable musicians for a SW solo album, just listen to Return of Saturn front to back and you'll hear some nice and trippy tunes :).....I'm also glad someone like Weiland took notice.

me too!! ^^^ I think that everyone kinda forgets that they ALL are No Doubt, not just Miss. Gwen. I like her better with ND myself... Her solo work does nothing for me. And that FUCKING song (the B A N A N A S one) I cant STAND!!! I think shes beautiful and all, but Im a ND fan I guess, not a fan of her solo.

This is exactly what Scott means when he says that he might feel this album will turn off STP fans. Just making a random observation.

The 'Bananas' song is Hollaback Girl. My guilty pleasure of 2005.

Unfortunately, I heard this song roughly eight times of day for a month straight when I worked at Old Navy. I used to scream the 'that shit is bananas' line in my deranged munchkin voice. After a while, I did it so much the song became a part of me, and I don't mind it as much as I used too. I've incorporated a few dance moves as well. It's not a great song by any means, but I think people tend to overanalyze songs and do not take them at face value and for what they really are.

As great as a guilty pleasure song it is, it's no Girlfriend.
