Haha.  Alright.  Fine.  It WAS your idea.

He could have done several unreleased tracks instead of TWO covers.  I kind of feel like I'm getting jipped.
How could they not notice it?! Because it's a little mint.  It's a Junior Mint!

Good find!  Wow, 4 covers on the double disc version.

What are the 4 covers? I thought it was just 'Fame' and 'Reel Around The Fountain' that are covers, what are the other 2 cover songs on the double version and who were they by originally?

Also, what are the chances of getting this 2 disc deluxe edition in the UK and Europe? Obviously it's the version I want to own, ebay perhaps??

Thanks for the info, judging from the clip I heard of 'Be Not Afraid' I thought it must be a hymn!

So I think I've decided the tracklisting bothers me...I've had this album for a day, and don't know it very well, and I only spent about 10 minutes of this, but, so far, I like this better (even though there probably is a better way):

Big Black Monster
Arch Angel
Missing Cleveland
Paralysis
Tangle With Your Mind
She Sold Her System
Blind Confusion
Fame
Beautiful Day
Killing Me Sweetly
Crash
Pictures and Computers
(hidden)Be Not Afrad

Well, what leaked is not fully accurate according to the two discs I received. They could be moving things around, but I doubt it at this point. It plays out a bit chaotic, but that is why I love it.

Disc 1

1. Missing Cleveland
2. Tangle With Your Mind
3. Blind Confusion
4. Paralysis
5. She Sold Her System
6. Blister on my Soul
7. Fame
8. Killing Me Sweetly
9. Big Black Monster
10. Beautiful Day

Disc 2

1. Crash
2. Hyper-Fuzz-Funny-Car
3. The Man I Didn't Know
4. Sometimes Chicken Soup
5. Somethings Must Go This Way
6. Pictures and Computers (I'm Not Superman)
7. Sentimental Halos
8. Reel Around the Fountain
9. Archangel

Missing Cleveland is now available for d/l on iTunes, and the album is available for preorder.  There is a 14th track listed on iTunes, "I Know It's Too Late".

I don't believe this song has been mentioned for the (supposed) Best Buy double disc, so that's at least one more track, though I don't see myself buying it again on iTunes for the one song if it's album-only.

cool, thanks for the info!  I checked itunes last night and didn't see anything, so they must have updated it this morning.  Do you know if the album is 'itunes plus' (DRM free)?

I had just checked when I posted that.  THey usually have the new Tuesday albums up between 9-10pm on Monday night (PST), which is also when they do other updates (digital singles, preorders, etc.).  It looks like so far it's only available for $9.99 which I understand isn't iTunes Plus...

So what's the point of a digital pre-sale? Do you get a cheaper price for the album?

Well, in this specific case, there doesn't seem to be one other than when you buy it now, the next time you open iTunes after the release date, all you have to do is check new downloads and it'll start.

Usually, though, there are bonus tracks specifically for presale, or a bonus video.  For example, I bought the last Counting Crows record presale, and it had two extra songs that were no longer available once the album went on sale.

Oh, did anybody else notice that on the inside of the deluxe edition case it says "special secret song inside"?

What do you think it's referring to?

I dont have the deluxe edition yet, but I believe its referring to "Be Not Afraid" which is the "Hidden Track" on that disc.  It may be the "Hidden Track" on the Deluxe edition as well.
STP: A bunch.

That was my thought too. The second disc is listed as only having 9 tracks, but "Be not afraid" is track 10.
