Could someone post the exact chords to Atlanta, I haven't found anything too convincing on the web, besides I'm not the greatest guitarist either, figure out it starts with E Maj though, lol...

The only tab I've used to play the song is the one from ultimate-guitar.com. It seems right for the most part, but the DeLeos have been known to use alternate tunings and unique chords.

Have you downloaded or checked out the stems for Atlanta? I've been using it to play along with to get the right strumming patterns.

I was thinking of doing a cover of this song with one of my friends.

Im not sure of the exact name of some Chords but the Verses are:
E: (022100)
F# sus 4: (044200)
G/E: (055430)

Other special thing Dean does is the  Am9  Chord in the Chorus:
Am9 (x05557)

Oh yeah the stems, haven't gotten myself to them yet.

Thanks! sounds about right. ultimate-guitar had that 2nd chord wrong though, it is an F minor, but this: 044200 is actually some major A chord and sounds way more accurate imo.

I took a quick look at the ultimate-guitar tab and it's pretty good. The first part of the section labeled Chorus sounds to me like it is Bm, Gmaj7, F#m, G, D, F. At the end of the Bb measures he changes to Bb(#11) and at the end of the Em he changes to what sounds like Em(#11).

Bb(#11) x1335x
Em(#11) 022300

Definitely play that. Play your Am as a bar chord. Then all you have to do is move your pinky to the 7th fret on your high E. Sounds way better than just straight up Am.

Give me a couple of days please, I'm sure I have a nice version of it at home... sounds pretty like the original version when I play it, except for the vocals.. lol
