How does this article prove that the rumors are true? That quote from Scott is really reassuring, not proving that he's definitely going to rehab

Yeah, I don't think this proves anything, really.

Maybe the only thing it proves is that he might actually be committed to staying away this time.

Oh really? I hadn't gotten a chance to watch  that yet and didnt really pay attention to the posts about it...so was he messed up when he made that speech?

Let's just hope that he felt the need to finish his Christmas album and nothing is really wrong ...and that they will just reschedule these shows.

Unfortunately I don't think there's anyway they would ever cancel some shows just so Scott can finish his Christmas album...

Agreed.  It has to be rehab, I wouldn't be shocked if Scott is in rehab right now actually from his speech in Texas a couple nights ago.

When I watched that Crackerman video and he said "take care of myself" I thought "finally", but he was drunk so... I really hope this is a non-forced rehab thing. He needs to quit the booze, not for the show or the band.

Could be a number of things, the rest of the band all have families and lives too.
