I think he's using the kit from earlier this year. For the August shows he was using different Roto Toms and his floor toms were black as well. I wonder why the switch? That old bass head was killer.

I was able to chat with Rob briefly before the Cincy '09 gig and I asked him about how the new album was progressing.  He said it was going well, so I asked if he had anything I could hear.
 
He busted out the handy Iphone and played a tune that to me sounded a bit like "Lounge Fly", only a bit faster.  SW hadn't put any vocals on it yet.  I don't think it was one that made the album.

Thank you for sharing this! The video on YouTube is awesome. Scott looks happy and humbled by the outpouring of love on his special day. I loved watching him feed the guys the cake! They are 4 of the most beautiful people I have ever seen. I'm so happy I saw them in NC the week before and I hope they come back again real SOON!
