It’s strange. I’ve never been into punk. But the last couple years since a stumbled onto one of their most popular videos... it ignited a blaze in me. I really like the passion and the attitude in the art. I really side with the position they seem to take in most of their songs... I get their view points and what they’re trying to get across. I personally relate it in many ways to how I feel about a lot of issues global and in the states... that and the instrumentals. The way these guys sound. I haven’t been this into anything in music since... well, STP. Just crazy that refused has been around just as long. They just never got mainstream focus here. I guess that’s what makes music fun. There can be so much out there it takes years to run into it.

I just made a post ranting about a "Core 2.0" a bit and so now I am listening to "Time Everytime" by Art of Anarchy. The band that Weiland said existed only as a fraud, although there's an album and a few videos featuring him performing.
I don't think we ever got real clarification from him on that....

I remember they tired to sue Scott (Weiland) over not wanting to tour. They also tried to sue Scott (Stapp) over something. The band sounds pretty fishy.

I'm glad Scott did that project, he proceduced some good stuff on it but that whole thing with him denying he was even in that band was bizarre

I've been listening to a lot of Front Line Assembly lately. I'm into collecting vinyl from the Wax Trax days, but I recently became really impressed with how FLA has evolved significantly over the years. They've really become masters of their craft - I couldn't believe it. Try putting on the Warmech or Airmech albums and just letting them play ambiently in the background.
I guess they are video game sound tracks, but honestly they sound like artsy industrial club albums.

I know exactly what you mean on both accounts. And ya that track really feels like a part of the overall STP catalog- it's probably the one on the album that I'm most comfortable with.
